Mexico city in 5 images

Mexico City Cathedral in the centro. The cathedral has a lot of history behind it and has been recently rebuilt due to a earthquake not many cities have such a significant cathedral in the centre of their city.




The Palacio de Bellas Artes (Palace of Fine Arts) is the most important cultural center in Mexico City as well as the rest of the country of Mexico. It contains very famous art which is unique to a city such as this one.


Ballet Folklórico de México is a ballet ensemble in Mexico City. For five decades it has presented dances in costumes that reflect the traditional culture of Mexico. Seeing something like this really gives an insight into Mexico City and their history.


The National Palace, was the seat of the federal executive in Mexico. It is located on Mexico City's main square. This site has been a palace for the ruling class of Mexico since the Aztec empire


This is an artefact from The National Museum of Anthropology in Chapultepec. It is one of the most extensive of its kind in the world.  There are rooms that house archaeological artifacts (originals or replicas). There is an extensive amount of cultures and voted by some people as the best museum in the world
